The government of Zhuhai plans to invest 9.728 billion yuan to the city¡¯s construction in 2018, with a year-on-year increase of 15.2%. Among them, 7.917 billion yuan will support the continued construction of 59 projects, accounting for 81.4%; 1.011 billion yuan will be invested in new construction programs, sharing 10.4%. The preliminary charge and the reserve fund will cost 100 and 700 million yuan respectively, accounting for 1% and 7.2%.
The distribution plan in industries are:
371 million yuan to support the improvement of rural infrastructure;
394 million yuan to construct medical hygiene;
181 million yuan to strengthen the ability of public culture and sports services;
293 million yuan to optimise the public education resources allocation structure;
186 million yuan to enhance the city¡¯s security;
180 million yuan to accelerate the implementation of environmental protection and restoration projects;
5.41 billion yuan to perfect the traffic net;
1.51 billion yuan to speed up the construction of municipal facilities;
457 million yuan to improve the public services.
According to the deployment of crucial work by the municipal party committee and municipal government, Zhuhai will continue to focus on the three primary objectives and tasks in 2018: infrastructure reform on the supply side, structural improvement of the real economy and people's livelihood. The city will integrate actively into the new layout of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Big Bay Area and the high-level building of a core city in the West Bank of the Pearl River, targeting at a region of happiness for both urban and rural citizens.
